Dr. Linda Guttman

Welcome to my practice. I meet my clients with gentle curiosity and compassion, and work collaboratively to understand their experiences in the larger context of their lives. I provide a safe and respectful atmosphere that allows clients to know themselves more deeply, have increased confidence, feel calmer, manage feelings more effectively, take appropriate risks to live life more fully and have more meaningful relationships. I believe in the resiliency of the human spirit to survive and thrive through transitions and life challenges.

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of NH for 26 years. I have extensive experience in working with young adults, single incident trauma, and in providing clinical consultation. My work with parents of college students spans over 30 years.  I am interested in working with seniors around the aging process, care giving, transition, and loss.

I welcome professionals who are interested in learning more through a consultative relationship.  I have over 25 years of experience as a supervisor of early career psychologists and have been a consultant to more senior mental health providers for over 20 years.   I have extensive training in working with survivors of trauma including training in EMDR and Sensorimotor Therapy.

I look forward to talking with you about your concerns.
